Recovery & growth in a healthcare services business

After a period of prolonged downturn in the UK business. The MD’s goal was to lead the organisation through a rapid recovery programme and into growth, while also achieving a critical re-alignment of the business in response to significant market changes. It was essential that he remained focused and rigorous in leading his team to achieve stretch targets while also supporting their need to build their own and their teams’ leadership capability.

After twelve months of one to one coaching for the MD and his direct reports, team coaching sessions for the leadership team and further support for their teams, the business achieved its year end targets. The leadership teams were restructured to leverage key strengths and the business is set to grow.

Transition & transformation – from public to private sector

The CEO’s challenge was to lead a public sector organisation through a two-year transformation programme in readiness for its transition into a commercial, private entity. It was critical that he sustain the rigorous quality standards and outcomes of the current operation while building motivation and energy for the new and innovative business streams that were critical to future success.

A two-year programme of one to one, team and group coaching delivered the following:

  • Collective energy and focus around an extended leadership model
  • A new sense of ownership amongst the senior management team
  • ‘Joined up’ activity around the operationalisation of the strategic intent
