Our Approach to Quality

Accreditation

Praesta is the only dedicated UK coaching provider to be accredited by the EMCC for the quality of its training, continuous professional development, standards and supervision of coaches.

Independent Supervision

All Praesta coaches operate with the benefit of regular, independent, specialist supervision which serves two purposes: quality assurance, to ensure clients are receiving the best possible coaching, and skills development for the coach. Our supervisor feeds back to a dedicated Praesta quality management team any themes emerging from supervision that they believe the firm should address through its training policies and professional practices.

Professional Development

Each Praesta coach has their own professional development plan and is expected to pursue individual continual learning, as well as participate in our internal CPD programme. On joining the firm, each coach is required to gain practitioner status accreditation and commit to obtaining master coach status after five years. Many choose to continue their individual studying further.

Praesta’s internal CPD programme focuses on keeping the team at the leading edge of both coaching techniques and business thinking. The coaching team engages together in development activities, including masterclasses with recognised external experts, workshops with leading academics and seminars on emergent thinking on business leadership. This programme, and its EMCC accreditation, is unique in the coaching industry.

Client Satisfaction

Our independent supervisor carries out regular client surveys to obtain feedback on the impact of our coaching programmes. The non attributable data is used in supervision sessions to help our coaches develop their skills and is reviewed by our quality management team to ensure that we address any emerging training or development needs.
